Kris oversees the organization’s fiscal systems. Her responsibilities include all of the District’s financial transactions, financial statement preparation, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, payroll, human resources, and grant accounting, in addition to financial reporting to the Board of Directors. She also provides consulting services through the RCD to other Special Districts and nonprofits to assist them with fund accounting and grant reporting. Prior to her arrival at the RCD in 2008, Kris worked as an Accountant for various agricultural business companies throughout the North State. Kris also has a great love of horses, and she has operated her own horse training and marketing business since 1997.
