"With Lassen peak as the backdrop, the Jelly's Ferry area provides easy access to a beautiful cross section view of Tehama County's natural landscape: the Sacramento River and its riparian habitat of water-loving vegetation that gives way to rolling oak savanna, mixed forest and high altitude conifer forest. Stunning!"

Brin has extensive experience with program development and community relations in both the public and private sectors, helping to advance the RCD's grant projects and educational outreach campaigns including Outdoor Galore, the series of Make-n-Play natural world discovery kits. She enjoys putting her Next Generation Science Standards training to use in supporting local educators implement hands-on environmental science learning. On behalf of the Tehama Conservation Fund, she coordinates the Wild & Scenic(R) Film Festival On-Tour in Red Bluff through the RCDTC's nonprofit, the Tehama Conservation Fund. Prior to her arrival at the RCDTC, Brin worked in wine marketing and public relations in Sonoma County, and the agricultural renewable energy production, and solid waste source reduction sectors here in the north state.
